Is this sort of monolithic skyscraper construction possible? If not, will it be in coming years?

  1. I’m not sure what makes it monolithic, although it looks similar to many modern structures. Is it a matter of size that you’re concerned about? Or the overhanging cantilever? In terms of scale, it’s difficult to determine how huge it is, but it’s not impossible to reach 1000 metres or higher now, even if it’s pricey. In terms of overhangs, consider 1 UN Plaza, which appears to be quite familiar, or the Kolhas buildings in Rotterdam.

  2. Monolithic has a structural meaning that is distinct from its visual meaning. Monolithic constructions are made up of only one solid piece, which is perhaps why people ask, “What makes something monolithic?”
