Residential Development Project: Les Terrasses Cap-à-l’Aigle

November 24, 2011 Luxury Modern Homes, Stylish Houses

The residential development project Les Terrasses Cap-à-l’Aigle was born from a passion for the great open spaces and natural beauty of the Charlevoix region in 2009. Florent Moser and Alain Rajotte, both entrepreneurs as well as ardent lovers of the region, have created a unique residential development project that unites nature and architecture to provide a haven of peace and rejuvenation for its future owners and tenants. With respect for the environment and the desire to harmonize with nature as the driving forces behind the project, the developers conceived modern, luxury homes that blend seamlessly into the landscape. This major residential development offers hillside lots with panoramic views, surrounding mature forest, privacy, tranquility, abundant natural light, and quality infrastructures. It is a two-phase project, with 60 and 40 lots respectively. Read More

Loft 24-7 Sao Paulo

São Paulo-based Fernanda Marques has achieved a residence called Loft 24-7 in São Paulo, Brazil. The residence has an idealistic balance by using “outdoor” elements inside and “indoor” elements outside. On a surface of almost 250 square meters, the living room is presented as an open environment full of light, in which a light plays and the expression of nature makes the space live within as if it was outside. Limestone, rough stone, steel, glass, wood paneling and furnishings that speak to the architect’s modernist style, all create a harmonious, seamless environment where you are never quite in and never quite out. The decor looks like a continuation of the external elements, combining details that recall the country houses together with those of modern housing in a unique style and great taste. Read More

Vienna Way Residence

The Vienna Way residence, designed for a young family, is located on a large, extensively landscaped lot in Venice, California. Floor to ceiling glazing and outdoor living spaces fully integrate the home within the California native landscape. Working within the restrictions posed by the narrow site, the design divides the lot into thirds, with the two main volumes placed on the exterior edges of the property, bridged by a sunken kitchen in the center. The one-story structure to the south houses a great room that combines formal living and dining areas. The structure begins in the front of the property and flows into an outdoor dining patio.
