  1. If Cerdà saw how speculation devastated the open and green spaces he envisioned, he would probably hang himself. Fortunately, we’re gradually realizing that vehicles and asphalt are not the answer. Barcelona will be a great city, both in terms of air quality and noise, thanks to superilles, cycling lanes, and greenways.

  2. Enric Granados to Roger de Flor, and Gran Via to Londres/Pare Claret, I believe.

    The park stretches from Pg St Joan to Rambla Catalunya between Aragó and Mallorca.

    Given that Pg de Gràcia isn’t on this map, I’m guessing it’s one of Cerdà’s first.

  3. It’s a shame that the initial concept was so drastically altered. Reading up on the original plan’s concepts – it made a lot of sense and was very “people friendly.”
